Private villa holidays are a great way to enjoy Tuscany

We help you chose a villa of the right size, (villa owners love dealing with us) normally for a group of family and friends of 6 to 18 people.

The villas are known to us and we use only the best in the best locations, so no nasty surprises of noisy neighbours, farmyard smells or inadequate services.

A typical day goes like this . . .

Get up when you feel like it, fresh cooked breakfast is waiting for you along with the English language newspaper. No need to dress formally, you're amongst friends. If you need any laundry done, just leave it with the house keeper.

When everybody is ready, the air conditioned minibus takes you off into the depths of Tuscany. The destination will depend on your interests but if it is wine then you will be tasting it in a private garden with the owner, if it is food, a lovely restaurant, not in the guide books but well known to the locals for its various specialities.

After lunch, time to shop and take a coffee in the town of Cortona or if you prefer, to laze around your pool.
Dinner can be at a local restaurant, at other times a light supper at home, prepared for you, though you are welcome to join in the preparation if you like cooking.

Don't worry about those glasses left around late at night, they will all be cleared away before you wake refreshed for the next day.

You choose what you want to do from a range of activities such as . . .

• Pizza making in the local pizzeria
• Tour of Florence - Orvieto - Siena - Perugia
• Winery visits
• Pottery visits
• Tour the local street market choosing food for a picnic
• Cooking classes
• Uffizi guided tour

• Some days are left free with transport on hand.

The price?

It depends on the mix but you can have a great week for less than €1300 all accommodation, meals, fees, tours and transport included.
